A very well written, interesting book with a clever, believable plot – let’s hope it never happens! The first part of the book is set in the modern day with terrorism the internet and various technology. The second part moves on to a futuristic world which I am curious to know more about, so look forward to the next instalment.
Well constructed story which takes 9/11 as its background and does a projection in to the futurve as its plot line.Believable ideas tinged with a bit of understandable cynicism about things we all see happening today.I liked the way the Messiah machine and the robots are sort of given a bit of heart and emotion. As for the ending, who knows? Could we be on the road to Alenorr already? Anxiously looking forward to reading the second book to find out what happens next. Hopefully, it will not take long?
A tantalising read taking us from our present world miseries towards other possibilities and worlds!
Richard Perret writes with ease in a style that captures the imagination, Bravo!

A real page turner. The story is gripping, imaginative and believable. The author's command of the English language made this book a real joy to read. I am looking forward to the second book in this series.
